Where was God when the attacks occurred on 9/11? The same place He was when the principalities and powers of this world were busy nailing His Son to Calvary’s cross. The same place He is today, as our high courts order the removal of all monuments from public places that bear the Ten Commandments, His moral laws to society.
Where was God when kids took weapons to school to kill as many students and teachers as they could before being apprehended? The same place He was when the decisions were made that made it a crime to read His Word in the public schools, “thou shalt not kill, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself..,” etc.
Where was God when the clergy were molesting the children entrusted to their care? The same place He was when people disregarded His scriptural qualifications for pastors. The same place He has been while religions are voting to approve of homosexual clergy.
Where was God when the rapist attacked the young girl down the street? The same place He was while the magazines were being printed with pictures of nude women, under the guise of it being called wholesome, down to earth appreciation for the beauty of the female body. The same place He has been all along while people reject His Word that calls for shamefacedness and modest apparel.
Where has God been while violence and corruption have become rampant in society? The same place He has been while people have been pouring millions of dollars into the entertainment industry as it makes TV shows and movies that promote profanity, violence, and illicit sex. And while people are sold out to musicians whose music and performances suggest rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes.
Yes, everywhere we see evidence where human conscience has been seared by the hot iron of willful rejection of God and His Word. The evidence that God has given man up and over to a reprobate mind is undeniably present. What do you support? Whose side are you on?
